About Gina

“Freedom & Joy are our Birthright”

Gina Weiss offers a unique approach to psychotherapy that accesses and utilizes the client’s inner wisdom and guidance. She empowers her clients through education about, and facilitation of, natural inner healing processes. These methods have been highly effective for issues ranging from mild to serious emotional problems (depression, anxiety, eating disorders, phobias, obsessive/compulsive disorders, childhood trauma and abuse, sexual problems), to relationship and career issues, and understanding transpersonal (spiritual) experiences.

Gina Weiss is a California licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Queens College, City University of New York, and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech.

Gina has been serving individuals, families and businesses in her private practice in Big Bear Lake California since 1985. She is also available for seminars, groups and private sessions at other locations by special arrangement. She is the author of a book and audio set entitled The Inner Path: A Guide to Higher Consciousness and the Inner Healing Process.
With a strong commitment to health and well-being, Gina is active in the local community, having founded Bear Valley Children’s Network, Mountain Healing Arts Association (MHAA), and Big Bear THRIVES! as well as having initiated and administered the Big Bear Medicine Wheel ceremonies. She has organized three MHAA Expos, and hosted many invited speakers including Joseph Costa, James Hyman, Bennie LeBeau, Christan Hummel, and Dr. Masaru Emoto.
